Remembering | In a time before PTSD was recognized as a war malady needing treatment, Sgt. Edda Wallace returned from the Vietnam War psychologically broken. Wallace took his own life on Chelsea's West Hill, when Eddie Walllace (right), the son he shared with Mary Roberts (center), was only two months old. Chelsea remembered their fallen brother on Memorial Day this year with a presentation of Edda Wallace's many service medals by Doug Lyford and Katherine Long, of US Senator Patrick Leahy's staff. To the left is Michael Wallace, Edda Wallace's first born son, who came to Chelsea from Texas for the presentation. The half-brothers met for the first time last Thursday when Eddie picked Michael up at Boston's Logan Airport.
