After South Royalton School was damaged by the Irene flood, its athletic fields all but wiped out, students and faculty from Essex Union High School stepped forward with donations and support. Tuesday night, the Royals welcomed their Essex friends to a party in SoRo. Essex brought along a check for $12,000, the result of months of fundraising, which they presented to South Royalton.
