Like Jo and Edward Hopper 74 years before, Bonnie Clause and Mike Hogan stand on the bank of the White River very near the spot where Edward Hopper painted his watercolor Rain on River in late summer 1938. This is along the stretch of the White running toward Eaton's Sugar House across the road from Lucky's Trailer Sales. (Herald/ Bob Eddy)
