ROYALTON FALL FEST | When the Royalton Rec Commission, Journey Church, and Vermont Law School co-sponsored another Fall Festival and "Trunk or Treat" party on the green this past Saturday, there were bouncy houses for the kids, cider, doughnuts, cotton candy, and hot dogsÑin addition to the 15 or so vehicles decorated for the season and dispensing candy to a throng of costumed children. Earl Silloway had a wagon and a team of horses, Doc and Tonka, who were kept busy circling the green all afternoon giving hay rides. All donation received from the vent will go to Revive Royalton, a flood relief organization. Throughout the afternoon, an estimated 500 people participated in this third annual event, which was blessed with good weather despite it being a bit cold. (Herald / Stuart Levasseur)
