Angelique Lee and Jason Hayden worked with the White River Partnership to coordinate a Tweed River Clean Up Sunday, Oct. 16.
25 volunteers showed up to help, starting at 12:30 p.m., and wrapping up around 4 p.m., when the dumpsters were filled up. WRP Board member Geo Honigford of Royalton helped on site. ÒWe were able to walk most of the flood plains and river banks (the water was very high due to recent rain) from The Clear River Tavern north to Guernsey Brook,Ó Lee reported.
