While The Moon Shines | Local farmers are having to ignore conventional advice to "make hay while the sun shines," this year. Miles Hooper at Ayers Brook Farm in Randolph has just just taken in his fourth cutting of alfalfa. Meanwhile, on the other side of the village, Justin Poulin (pictured here) is burning late night fuel wrapping and stacking third and fourth cuttings of beautiful hay. In an extremely dry season we are reminded that one farmer's struggle is sometimes another farmer's boon. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
