River Restoration | Led by Greg and Mary Russ from the White River Partnership, community members discuss the removal of a small dam in the Third Branch below Randolph's Main Street bridge. The dam, erected in the 1940s, will be removed and the river bed landscaped to allow brown trout to swim up stream. Permits should be coming soon, the Russes said, and demolition of the dam could begin as early as September. Unknown to many in the area, the dam is just a few feet tall and made of corrugated metal.
