Under the direction of Paige Crickard, front, kids prepare to rehearse a dance routing at the White River Valley Players' annual theater camp for kids in grades 2-8 this week at the Rochester School. Each summer for over a decade, this camp has brought the magic of live theater to area youth, who have fun creating a show, complete with costumes, sets, music, and dance. This year’s theme was “Broadway,” and there will be a free public performance Friday, Aug. 8 at 6:30 p.m., at the Rochester School auditorium. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
