EDDY MUSIC PREMIERES | Composer Kathy Wonson Eddy stands with Princeton University organist, Eric Plutz, before his premiere of her "Toccata and Offertory: In Paradisum" at Princeton University Chapel on May 31. Plutz, who commissioned the work, said of Eddy, "I love her music; it is open, joyful, and lyric; she has a real gift." Dedicated to the memory of Dieter Buehler of Rorbas, Switzerland, the piece was performed as part the Princeton's Reunion Weekend. This past weekend, Eddy attended her 40th Reunion at Middlebury College, where her newly commissioned work, "Farewell and Return: Circle of Love," was premiered by the Reunion Choir under direction of Emory Fanning. Additionally, it has just been announced that Eddy will be directing The Randolph Singers, beginning this fall. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
