Members of South Royalton High School's Global Impact Apprentice team led 285 students, teachers, and staff members in planting trees along the White River to help improve water quality and prevent erosion. The Global Impact Apprentice Challenge pairs teams from the U.S. high schools with foreign counterparts; the SoRo team's partner is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, where they performed work on the Yarkon River, which flows into the Mediterranean Sea.
