Fun at the ÔzooÕ Students in grades K-4 from Bethel and Stockbridge visited the Rochester School last Thursday for the Vermont Symphony OrchestraÕs Musical Petting Zoo at which ÒZookeeperÓ Rebecca Kopycinski gave a hands-on introduction to a variety of orchestral instruments.Ê After an explanation and demonstration of each instrument, the children got a chance to play on their own, under the supervision of Òhandlers.Ó The WNWSU Arts Curriculum council received financial support from the Rochester Chamber Music Society and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and volunteer help from several members of the communities.
