The Barnard Academy School Board convened for the first time since Town Meeting, where everyone on the previous school board had resigned, the proposed Supervisory Union merger was voted against, and new representatives were elected. After a period of impassioned public discussion, the Board voted to create an Alternative Structures Committee to investigate further options in the interest of retaining the Barnard Academy and developing an alternative structure to present to the State pursuant to the requirements of Act 46.
