Students and their mentors work late into he night Tuesday to complete their entry for the FIRST Robotics Competition. The annual contest challenges high schoolers to build a robot in six weeks to be used as a game piece in regional competitions. This year the game has a medieval fortress theme and requires the robots to storm obstacles and shoot "boulders" at targets to score points. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
