No Drive-thru | This was the eye-catching result on Sunday, Dec. 30, when the driver of this car from Massachusetts apparently hit the gas instead of the brakes, when attempting to park at MacÕs Valley Market on Main Street in Rochester.ÊThe car ended up lodged in the stairway to the Randolph National BankÕs branch office, but no one was injured, and even the ATM was unscathed. Jon Deering of DeeringÕs Service Center in Hancock, who was called to the scene to extricate the car with his tow truck, said the only damage was one smashed rocker panel, and a broken driverÕs side window. Personnel from the Rochester Volunteer Fire Department and the Vermont State Police also responded to the incident. (Herald / Jeff Mather)
