Mike Bogardus fills a quart mason jar full of syrup Monday at his Tunbridge sugarhouse. Bogardus uses only glass jars like this for his syrup. He finds them much easier to fill and a little unique for his customers. Bogardus noted that some of his patrons prefer his syrup because his sap is almost entirely collected in buckets.
