FOND FAREWELL | When Don Knight (pictured, center) moved to Brookfield in 1950, building his home and raising a family here, he hadn't a clue that sixty-two years later, at the age of almost ninety he would still be in town! Knight's splendid stay has run it's course, however; he's soon moving to Michigan to be with his daughter. Friends from Brookfield's "Good Enough Construction Crew," gathered Tuesday at Chadwck's in Randolph to wish their longtime friend and neighbor well. Also known as the Wednesday Morning Coffee Group, these fellows commiserate on subjects great and small each week at the Pond Village Church. Pictured are: Jon Babcock, Michael Stoddard Roy MacAskill, John Cole, Richard Lewis, Neil Carr, Sam Dilcer Mike Herold, Chuck Barnum, and Norman Runnion. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
