RTCC students spent Friday at a section of floodplain along the White River known as Refrigerator Flats in Stockbridge. In pairs, they assisted the White River Partnership and Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department in planting fast-growing trees on the flat, which had been ravaged by flooding in 2011.
