TSA POETRY OUT LOUD | The Sharon Academy students vied for school honors in poetry recitation last week. Each student presented two poems from memory before an audience of students, parents and adjudicators. Showing visible relief following the competition are: (L to R, back) Ella Williams, Bruce Atwood, Chris Gish; (L to R, front) Ben Lazar, Margaret Gish, Clara Henderson, Patrick Sharpe, Emily Weatherill. Finishing with top honors, Clara Henderson will represent TSA at the regional competition in Barre. The finals will be aired on VPT on March 20. First alternate, Patrick Sharpe, finished just one point ahead of Margaret Gish out of more than 160 possible points. Both will accompany Henderson and TSA event organizer Charlie McMeekin to Barre.
