Throughout Vermont bells were rung for 30 seconds at seven o'clock on Tuesday to commemorate the one year anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene's flood that put much of Vermont in disarray. In Hancock, community members gathered near the bridge on Route 100 to ring bells of all shapes and sizes while bells from the town hall tolled in the background. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
