We Navigate for You | Among Vermont's 14 counties, Orange County has one of the lowest rates of uninsured residents, with just under 2% of residents now without health insurance, according to data released this week by the state. Part of the reason for those good numbers are the folks, such as Gifford Medical Center's Michelle Packard and Casey Clark, pictured here, who serve as Vermont Health Connect “navigators.”
Packard and Clark will assist folks in signing up for health insurance at a 9 a.m.-3 p.m. event at Gifford next Wednesday, Jan. 14, Appointments are preferred (728-2323), but walk-ins are welcome. There is no charge for navigator assistance. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
