RUHS STAGES JULIA CHILD PLAY | The first amateur production of 'To Master The Art,' a new play about Julia Child, was presented on the RUHS stage last weekend. Covering Child's Paris years, much of the script was in French, handled brilliantly by the cast, many speaking the language for the first time.
Sasha Aronson and Garrett Gagnon, seen here amid Julia's expansive kitchen, were cast perfectly. From opening curtain to final bow the show was a masterful blend of sound, light, set and acting, demonstrating that Brian Rainville's nearly 60-member troupe is capable of theater that uplifts, informs, and entertains.
