Green Mountain National Forest Service and the White River Partnership hosted Sharon elementary students for fresh water snorkeling on the West Branch of the White River in Rochester on Wednesday last week. Devyn Potter (center) and classmates review some of the aquatic life present in the river. The program continues through the 20th with various school groups and The Forest Service hope to host the program at various sites on the forest every year. (Herald / Ben DeFlorio)
