A BUSY SUMMER FOR RANDOLPH ROAD CREW| Pike Construction applies a base coat of asphalt on the Ridge Road in Randolph Center, Tuesday morning. Prior to Pike's arrival, the Randolph road crew, under the direction Rob Runnals, prepared the surface of the 1 mile section of road. Other Randolph paving projects this summer have included, 3,000 feet of Thayer Brook Road, 900 feet of Windover Road, and 1200 feet of Weston Street and a section of Central Street. Along with pavement preparation for these asphalt applications, the six person Randolph crew has had a busy summer of sidewalk repair, ditching, culvert replacement, and road grading, according to Bill Morgan, Randolph's Buildings, Grounds, and Highway Operations Manager.
