RTCC students, Kelsey Jacobs and Ashton Bachand teamed to win the fire lighting contest, boiling water in 3 minutes and 41 seconds. Jacobs had a stellar day, winning firsts in 14 of 17 events, repeating as state women's champ. RTCC's Matt Townsend won the overall title, and the school bested all-comers, breaking a 19 year winning streak by Green Mountain Tech. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
