Matt Washburn of Bethel takes advantage of the low gas price, $2.69, and tops off his gas tank at Locust Creek gas station Friday, December 19th, 2014. The prices are so low nationally that Washburn opted to drive to Oklahoma for the holidays instead of paying almost three times teh amount for a plane ticket. (Herald / Zach Nelson)
