MOST PHOTOGRAPHED VERMONT WATERFALL | Three miles north of Granville , within view of Vermont Route 100, is the spectacular Moss Glenn Falls. This fan-shaped waterfall is almost 70 feet tall. It's popularity stems not merely from it's natural beauty, but also from the ease with which it can be viewed. On any summer day you will find folks from all over who have parked in the small lot just upstream and taken the wooden walkway a few hundred feet to the base of the falls. Linking this visit with a lunch or ice cream stop in Rochester to the south or at the Warren Country Store to the north makes for a delightful outing, 2 to 3 hours roundtrip from Randolph via the Roxbury and Bethel Mountain roads. Folks seeking good swimming will find no better spot than the Warren Falls a couple miles north toward Warren from Moss Glenn. Look for cars on the side of the road and follow the paths down to the riverbank with assistance from well used tree roots. With unique rock formations, three waterfalls and pools, water slides, several jumping rocks, and plenty of smooth sunning rocks for your picnic blanket, this is a fabulous spot for your next free afternoon!
