October -- Students in Bethel's Arts Bus Drama Club for ExCEL Afterschool program rehearse "Jasper and Silly Willy Get Saved by Their Worst Enemies." They wrote this play about two best friends, a hamster and a mole, who get caught in the middle of a raging river during storm Irene and are saved by their natural enemies: a hawk, an eagle, a crow and a leopard. This and two other plays about how folks helped each other when Irene came to town are to be performed at the Bethel Town Hall, Saturday, at 5 p.m. Pictured: (front left to right); Sean Butler, Abigail Rainville and Eddie Staples; (back left to right); MaKenzie Kill, mentor Cynthia Sandusky, Faye Bedell, Madasin Kill, Maria Gray, and Lily Merrill.
