Jane Huppee, of Tunbridge, volunteers to direct traffic at the intersection of Howe Lane and Route 110. Huppee's land abuts one parcel of the proposed New Vista development. She had once hiked this abuting land year round, and has has not stepped foot there since Hall purchased the parcel. Discussing her reasoning behind this decision, Huppee stated, "Because it is private land, and I haven't asked permission to go on it. I would not ask permission of Mr. Hall, because I do not agree with what he is trying to do in our area." (Herald / Seth Butler)
