Having struggled with complications arising from a genetic disorder called trisomy-18, eight-month-old Cora Salls has pulled through some difficult times in her young life. Her parents, Joy and Bruce Salls have seen her through numbers surgeries and medical treatments both at Fletcher-Allen Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Boston. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
