Glare ice created treacherous road conditions early Tuesday afternoon. The driver of this New York tractor trailer went into a skid coming south over the Route 12 Gilead Brook Bridge. Following a terrifying crossing he managed to thread the rig between a private residence and a power pole, leaving one lane open for passing cars. Nobody was injured. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
