Making Room | Site preparation for a new Randolph Fire Station proceeded with demolition of the first of two Central Street buildings, Wednesday. A bond vote to secure funding for proposed construction is scheduled for August. This property, empty for more than four decades, was once home to Ed and Pearl Duval and their family. The adjacent home, between this derelict building and the site of the former station, was the long-time home of Richard and Margaret Trask, and is scheduled for removal Thursday. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
