Skip Sjobeck shows off the work he did on this 1943 Tiffany 9-tube grandfather clock. The repairs included work on the movement and tubes of the clock as well as a thorough cleaning of the inner works and the dark oak cabinet, where Sjobeck was assisted by Erin Divelbiss. The clock was shipped to him from St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands for repairs and installation in the owner's Stowe home. At 100 inches tall and weighing about 400 pounds, the clock is valued at around $45,000. Sjobeck, who now runs the family clock shop in Randolph noted that St. Thomas is certainly the most exotic place from which he's received business. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
