FOUND ART | Barry Vermont found this interesting decorative fragment of cast iron while search the river bottom of the White river just south of the Randolph Village bridge Saturday. One third of it's surface is encrusted with gravel and sand, fused over time in the rust, and now a part of the piece's character and beauty. What was the original purpose of this now broken casting? Herald readers are invited to share their ideas which will be published in two week's time. (Herald / Bob Eddy)
