Caroline Corbally, takes a turn playing the role of a simulated patient, riding in a rescue toboggan during a high angle glade rescue training. During the course of the training, different members of patrol each rotated through a series of tasks, collaborating with new individuals and teams during each task. Excluding the Ski Patrol Directors, the organization is staffed entirely by volunteer Middlebury College students. Each member of the ski patrol is certified by the National Ski Patrol, and carries a Vermont State EMT-First Responder credential. (Herald / Seth Butler)
