A team from Harvey's Plumbing and Excavating, with supervision from Greg Russ of the White River Partnership, begin the process of removing a damaged dam on the Hancock Branch of the White River along Route 125. The dam, which was washed out during Tropical Storm Irene, had been installed nearly 100 years ago to help regulate a pond at what is now Camp Killooleet. (Herald / Tim Calabro)
