Slippery Slope | Freshman Logan Strebis slides down the hill during sledding at the White River Valley High School Winter Carnival. Students had many options, including board games, Kahoot!, Guitar Hero, sledding, basketball, ultimate frisbee, a snow building competition and more. They gathered in the gym first thing for poster-making and tug-of-war contests. During the day students participated in three different small-group activities and the day ended with a whole-school dodgeball competition, followed by hot chocolate and doughnuts. Activities were coordinated by the Student Council, with support from their advisor, foreign languages teacher, Carolyn Smith. (Herald / Alexis Taylor-Young)
