Numerous trees near Bethel Mountain Road in Rochester were toppled during Friday's severe storms, having been blown over in severe winds. All throughout the region, there was evidence of storm damage, many trees being plucked out of the ground along with their root ball, likely due in part to the combination of Friday's forceful winds, and a trend in extremely wet weather.
