A microburst knocked down several trees just north of Bethel Village along route 12 during Tuesday afternoon's thunderstorm. Many of the trees fell on Ryan Bidlack's (with reflective vest) property and with the help of Rachel Noyes he began clearing the trees immediately. Fortunately his house avoided any significant damage and the Bethel town crew soon came along to help clear the road. (Herald / Ben DeFlorio)
