Real Talk | Dana Decker, who co-teaches the racial justice project-based learning class at Randolph Union High School, addresses a discussion group held at Fable Farm in Barnard on Saturday. The group—composed of activists, teachers, and parents—began the first of what they hope will be many discussions on how to promote anti-racist and multi-cultural programming in area schools. For Decker, one key to fostering a culture of anti-racism was an all-grades, across-the-board implementation of anti-racist programming, rather than limiting discussions to a single club, class, or assembly.
